Faculty Reminders

IT Services would like to remind all faculty members of some important classroom processes to help us collectively bring forth better service to our staff and students.

• All classroom projectors are set up to extend the laptop/desktop display to the projector. If you make any changes to this set up, please put the display settings back to Extend.
  If you do not see a display on the projector, please try to revert the display setting to Extend.
  To do so, from the keyboard, hold down the Windows key, and press "P", then choose Extend.

• Please make sure that any cables you unplug from the podium set up is brought back to their original settings.
  There are typically 4 cables coming out of the podium. These cables are only to be used if you have an external device that you want to use in the podium set-up. Please do not connect these cables to the CUE laptop/desktop that is on the podium.

• Please keep the clickers in the classrooms as each of them are paired with a unique receiver that will only work for that clicker and classroom. If they are moved, it becomes increasingly difficult to match them back up with the correct receivers.

• After each class, please set the projectors to blank.
  If you are the last class for the day, kindly turn off the projectors. Please do not leave them turned on, as it reduces the lamp lifecycle, prompting for more frequent bulb replacements.
